Thrilling Walk-Off Win for Bucherons
The Thurso Bucherons handed the Halifax Batteries a loss at Bucherons Grounds. The final score was 12-11. Oliver Rivera was one of the major contributors for Thurso. In addition to his 2 singles and 1 home run, he scored 3 runs and drove in 2. The win went to Jorge Enríquez in relief, making him now 6-3. Gabriel Gutiérrez took the loss for Halifax. Tristán González was the walk-off hero for Thurso. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Bucherons shortstop hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
