Lona Finds Groove in 3-1 Thunder Bay Triumph
Thunder Bay Sleeping Giants starter Andrónico Lona turned in an exceptional performance against the Nipissing Air Marshals at Air Marshals Park, resulting in a Thunder Bay win, 3-1. The first-place Sleeping Giants, at 73-42, now lead their division by 6½ games.

Lona's performance can only be described as masterful. He notched 4 strikeouts in 9 innings while allowing 4 hits. Lona, who is tied for 4th in the OBA in quality starts with 21, goes to 22-8 on the year with 215 strikeouts.

"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," Lona said.
