Dons Get Clutch Win Versus Trois-Rivieres
The Quebec City Dons topped the Trois-Rivieres Trifluviens, 4-3, in Ligue du Baseball du Quebec action at Dons Field. The game was highlighted by the performance of Quebec City pitcher Gumersindo Rodríguez. The Dons now have a record of 57-44 with the win over Trois-Rivieres.

The Dons relied on designated hitter Roberto Méndez for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the ninth, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring double to seal the deal.

"Gumersindo was bobbing and weaving the whole game," said Quebec City manager José Palomo.
