Richards Hits 2 home runs in Privateers Win
Wet weather did not postpone the Sherbrooke-Laval ballgame.

The Sherbrooke Privateers beat the Laval Insulaires, 6-5, at Insulaires Field. Sherbrooke first baseman Herman Richards had the hot bat. He slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. The Privateers improved their record to 56-54 with the win over Laval.

Richards contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Sherbrooke in the top of the fourth. With his team trailing 5-4, Richards took a fastball from Jeremías Martín and stroked the home run to left. His 55th home run of the season allowed the Privateers to leap in front, 6-5.

"I was just going up there trying to see good pitches, that was about it," said Richards.
