Villanueva Paces Meteors to 3-0 Win
|
Julián Villanueva pitched a gem to lead Sudbury to victory over the Thunder Bay Sleeping Giants, 3-0. Aldo Trujillo earned the save, his 5th. Sudbury is now 46-57, Thunder Bay 51-48.
Villanueva gave Sudbury a solid start. The left-hander allowed no runs on 6 hits over 8.2 innings.
"Thought I threw pretty well and overall I felt good," said Villanueva.
