Thurso Rallies for 12-7 Win
The 3-RBI night of designated hitter Frank Dugas, who is tied for 10th in the LBQ in hits with 35, helped the Thurso Bucherons triumph, 12-7, over the Lachute Supercalandres. The winner was Jeffrey Hoffmann, who threw 127 pitches over 7.2 innings. The right-hander was charged with 6 runs on 11 hits. Jeremy Zinck recorded the save, his 1st.

Thurso used a timely hit from Lorenzo Méndez to get the win. The pinch hitter delivered a run-scoring triple in the top of the eighth inning to put the Bucherons on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"We're just going to try to build off this win," said Méndez.

The Bucherons saw their win-loss record go to 14-17. At the same time, the Supercalandres fell to 18-13.
