Oswalt Crafts 6-0 Shutout
Thursday, August 21st , 1997
Roy Oswalt handcuffed the Miami Alleycats at John Ducey Park today, coming away with a 4-hit, complete game shutout.

"I had everything working for me out there," the Edmonton Trappers right-hander said later. "I used every one of my pitches, hit both sides of the plate really well and felt like I could do whatever I wanted."

With his stuff working, Oswalt had little trouble with the Alleycats and led the Trappers to victory, 6-0. He recorded 7 strikeouts and 1 walk in an impressive performance.

Checking out his stats for the year, Oswalt has racked up 7 wins and 7 losses in 20 starts, posted a 2.69 ERA, and struck out 103 batters in 123.2 innings.
