Ken Hill Plans to Retire

Ken Hill of the New Orleans Zephyrs announced his retirement from Pacific Coast League today. The 38-year-old veteran told reporters that he has enjoyed his time playing ball, but that it is time for someone else to have a shot.

"It's a young man's game," Hill said, "and I'm not a young man anymore."

In his career, Hill has won 116 and lost 153, collecting 1304 strikeouts and 811 walks in 2225.1 innings with a 4.91 ERA. Opponents have hit .281 against him.
