Juan Brea Named Premier SL2 Player

The future looks extremely bright for Juan Brea. At the age of 18, many players are still trying to find their way in MLB Rookie League.
Brea has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the Sub League 2 Most Valuable Player Award.
"I didn't expect to hit .293 this year, that's for sure," the catcher said.
The Lodi Acorns star also put up a .401 on-base percentage this year, with 66 hits, 8 doubles, 14 triples, 14 home runs, 55 RBIs and 40 runs scored.
He received 14 first place votes out of a possible 26. Bryan Link of the Lincoln Buzz finished second in voting with 5 first place votes, while Rey Ordonez of the Plano Dolphins finished third.
