Barons Paul Piercy to Miss Year Monday, August 19th , 1991 When Milpitas left fielder Paul Piercy was taken out of the game, the crowd at the Barons-Minutemen game went silent as they could tell that it was a serious injury. That was confirmed today by doctors when they revealed that Piercy had sustained a concussion and will be out for about 10 months.
