Thobe Whitewashes Chandler, 2-0 Friday, October 4th , 1991 Jersey City rode the magical arm of J J Thobe in a 2-0 shutout win over Chandler. He shackled them on 8 hits and fanned 4. Almost to a man, the Chandler Spartans said he had them guessing wrong all game long. This season Thobe has fanned 85 in 130 innings and collected a 11-3 record with a 2.56 ERA. |
