Grimsley Guns Down Fire Fighters Sunday, September 29th , 1991 Chandler Spartans pitcher Jason Grimsley did his job to perfection today, blanking the Jersey City Fire Fighters at Spartans Ballpark. He scattered 5 hits while striking out 8 in the 5-0 shutout. "All I did was not allow any runs," he joked after the game. "I mean, technically, that's what they pay me to do, right?"
