Spring Lake Sits Atop Sub League 1 West Division Tuesday, September 10th , 1991 Spring Lake Whalers fans have reason to celebrate today, as their franchise is the class of the Sub League 1 West Division. With their record standing at 77-63, the club officially wrapped up the division title today, for the 0 time. Manager Jayden Swink said everyone on their roster is looking forward to the postseason and trying to capture the club's 1st championship. "That's what you dream about your whole life," Swink said. Starting Pitcher Bryan Rekar added that it's a great feeling to win the division, but said ultimately, a World Series victory is what will mark success for the club. |
