Razor-Sharp Rinehart Blanks Chandler Saturday, July 27th , 1991 Greg Rinehart of the Bridgeton Prospects toyed with the Chandler Spartans today, blanking them 3-0 at Spartans Ballpark. He was almost untouchable, baffling them on a 4-hit shutout with 5 strikeouts and 3 walks. "I'm sweating now because it's hot in here," Rinehart said in the clubhouse after the game. "But it didn't even feel like I was sweating out there." Rinehart has made 10 starts this season, posting 5 wins and 4 losses. Opposing clubs are batting .235 against him and he has 60 strikeouts in 75 innings with a 3.84 ERA. |
