Helena Valley West Central Goes Hitless Against Noble Wednesday, July 10th , 1991 The Bridgeton Prospects had a lot to celebrate today as 24-year-old hurler Mark Noble no-hit the Helena Valley West Central Stallions at Helena Valley West Central Grounds today. In an impressive outing that keyed the Prospects to a 5-0 victory, Noble had 9 strikeouts and surrendered 2 walks. "He mixed his pitches well and hit his spots, plus he got a little help from above," said Bridgeton manager Steve Hollins. "Mark really took it to another level today." This year Noble has 5 wins and 1 loss and a 1.96 ERA. |
