Saturday, May 12th , 1917
Joseph Robinson hurled nothing but zeros at the Seattle Sawyers in an impressive outing at Sawyers Grounds. The Tacoma pitcher allowed 5 hits, fanned 1, and walked 2 in blanking Seattle, 5-0.

"There were a lot of frustrated guys walking back to the dugout," Seattle manager Parker Bell said. "Not a fun day."

This season, Robinson has compiled a 11-5 mark, 1.65 ERA and made 16 starts.
