Bracebridge Brilliant, Blanks Rosebuds Tuesday, April 24th , 1917 Rolla Bracebridge was impressive at Spokane Grounds in the 1-0 Spokane Suns victory over the Portland Rosebuds. The Spokane pitcher mystified the Rosebuds in a strong performance, giving up 5 hits and totaling no walks and 1 strikeout. "Rolla had them chasing a lot of pitches and talking to themselves," Spokane manager Boris Talbot. "It was something special to watch."
