Allen Shuts Out Tacoma, 2-0 Tuesday, June 29th , 1915 Rosario Allen really had his stuff working at Sawyers Grounds. The Seattle Sawyers hurler mystified the Tacoma Larks, shutting them out, 2-0. Allen allowed a total of 7 hits in the ballgame and struck out 5. "The shutout is nice, but I'm just happy we won," Allen said with a smile after the game. "Coach can be a real bear when we lose."
