Saint Shuts Out Oakland, 1-0
Thursday, June 24th , 1915
Robert Saint handcuffed the Oakland Ducks at Spots Grounds, coming away with a 4-hit, complete game shutout.
"I had everything working for me out there," the San Francisco Spots left-hander said later. "I used every one of my pitches, hit both sides of the plate really well and felt like I could do whatever I wanted."
With his stuff working, Saint had little trouble with the Ducks and led the Spots to victory, 1-0. He recorded 3 strikeouts and 1 walk in an impressive performance.
This year, Saint has a 14-6 record with a 1.61 ERA in 24 starts.
