Starkey Shuts Down Goats, 3-0 Sunday, April 2nd , 1916 Colonels Park played host to a command performance by Asa Starkey of the Los Angeles College Mud Cats. In shutting out Naval Academy, 3-0, Starkey limited the Goats to 7 hits. The 19-year-old hurler also fanned 2 and walked 2 in capturing the victory.
