Texans Move on to World Series

With a narrow 4-3 series win, the Sunrise Manor College Texans have eliminated the Irvine College Paladins and are League Championship Series winners.
"We tried not to look ahead to the World Series, but we thought we'd be there for sure," said left fielder John Beanes, who was named series MVP.
Sunrise Manor College won the final game by a score of 6-3, wrapping it up at Texans Park.
Beanes's big series saw him hit .478 with a .500 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 6 runs.
The Sunrise Manor College Texans will play against the West Point Knights in the next round. West Point won their series against the Citadel Cannons 4 games to 2. The World Series schedule will be announced after the League Championship Series finishes.
