Conference 2 West Division Champs Crowned: Los Angeles College Mud Cats Thursday, May 6th , 1915 The Los Angeles College Mud Cats have silenced their critics, backed up those who believed in them and won the Conference 2 West Division. "You always think you've got a chance to win the division, but until you get it done you never really know how things are going to play out," said starting pitcher Scott Oakey. "I think we're all grateful to get the chance to vie for the World Series." It is the 3rd division crown for the franchise and manager Roy Dyson said in a sporting landscape where you are judged by what you've most recently accomplished, "it feels incredibly good to be at the top of the pile." |
