April's Premier Batter Announced Saturday, May 1st , 1915 When Wendell Muggleston stepped up to the plate in April he did it with confidence, and today he was honored with the Conference 2 Batter of the Month award. The young Los Angeles College left fielder posted a .324 batting average with 3 home runs, 12 RBIs and scored 15 runs. Muggleston also worked pitchers for 13 walks to post a .402 on-base percentage. This season, Muggleston has hit at a .315 clip and produced 19 runs batted in, 4 home runs and 26 runs. |
