Nesbitt Bewilders Lions, 4-0 Tuesday, April 27th , 1915 Raymond Nesbitt had the Louisiana State Lions dancing to his tune during a sparkling 4-0 shutout performance for the Citadel Cannons. He gave up 4 hits, issued 3 walks and had 2 strikeouts. Louisiana State hitters were bewildered throughout the game by his delivery. "When you face a guy who hides the ball like he does, it takes a couple of at-bats to try to find his release point," opposing manager Johnny Andrews said. "We just never figured him out."
