Palmer Hurls 1-0 Shutout Wednesday, July 3rd , 1912 In a remarkable performance, Salem Stormbreakers starter Tracy Palmer beat the Wilmington Arsenal 1-0 in an impressive 5-hit shutout. "My arm felt good, mechanics were good and my stuff was working," he said later. "It doesn't get any better than this." The Stormbreakers hurler finished with 6 strikeouts and no walks. He showed pinpoint control and a sharp fastball. "It was a rough one for my guys," Wilmington manager Lloyd Fordyce said following the game. "We weren't at our best and their guy was."
