Ball Fires Shutout in Akron Victory

Walter Ball of the Akron Blues was lights-out while 5-hitting the Muskegon Muskrats.
"I had my good stuff and it went where I wanted it to go," he told BNN reporters after the contest.
Ball registered 3 strikeouts and 1 walk in shutting out Muskegon, 5-0.
This season, Ball has a 4-5 mark in 11 starts with a 3.06 ERA. He has given up 84 hits in 88.1 innings, struck out 31 and issued 27 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .244 batting average against him.
