Watts Brilliant, Blanks Arsenal

In a sharp 5-hit performance, Loy Watts led the Duluth Lakers to a shutout victory, 1-0, over the Wilmington Arsenal, fanning 1 and walking 4.
"That's as good of stuff as I've seen in a long time," Wilmington manager Travis Carpenter said in a postgame interview.
Watts has made 17 starts, tossed 144.2 innings, struck out 51 batters and walked 49. His record is 8-8 with a 3.17 ERA and he has limited other teams to a .266 batting average.
