Russell Skunks Abrahams Friday, June 29th , 1917 In a very sharp performance at Orange Sox Park, George Russell of the Gettysburg Union blanked the Springfield Abrahams, 2-0. He permitted 5 hits and finished with 6 strikeouts and 2 walks in the Union victory. "George goes out there and just goes about his business," Union manager Richard Pinchbeck said in his postgame press conference. "I don't think he gets too concerned about what's going on.
