Heartland Academy Shuts Out Oregon Academy, 4-0 Monday, March 19th , 1917 The bats were ice cold for the Oregon Academy Blues at Academy Ballpark of Portland. Heartland Academy Blacks starter William Colcheeper kept the Blues cold all day, shutting them out, 4-0. In a fine outing, the 17-year-old hurler allowed 6 hits while striking out 3 and walking 0.
