Day-to-Day Injury Shelves McCurrine Tuesday, August 10th , 1915 Black Kings star second baseman Wendell McCurrine might be sitting it out a few days after he picked up an injury in yesterday's game against the Pittsburgh Rollers. He sustained a knee sprain while running the bases. McCurrine isn't expected to miss a lot of time. However, doctors want to be cautious. They said he would be day-to-day for about one week. McCurrine is hitting .298 this season with 2 home runs, 50 RBIs and 51 runs scored. He has 79 hits in 265 at-bats. |
