Lorenza Garry Selected July's Best Batter Wednesday, August 1st , 1917 Lorenza Garry may be getting older, but he's evidently not slowing down. The Atlanta Foxes first baseman is the Great Southern Batter of the Month for July after posting a stellar campaign. Garry batted .371, hit 4 home runs, drove in 16 runs, scored 18 times and compiled a .456 on-base percentage. Thus far this season, Garry is hitting .352 with 4 home runs, 56 RBIs and 62 runs scored. He has 133 hits in 378 at-bats and has played in 101 games. |
