Atlanta Downs Memphis as Smith Tosses 3-0 Shutout Sunday, June 20th , 1915 Wesley Smith was impressive at Bears Ballpark in the 3-0 Atlanta Foxes victory over the Memphis Bears. The Atlanta pitcher mystified the Bears in a strong performance, giving up 6 hits and totaling no walks and 6 strikeouts. "Wesley had them chasing a lot of pitches and talking to themselves," Atlanta manager Edward Joseph. "It was something special to watch."
