Goobers Roll to 8-3 Win Over Nickajacks
Spec Kyle, who leads the GSL in quality starts with 5, propelled his team to victory over the Chattanooga Nickajacks. The final score was 8-3, Savannah. The Nickajacks, now 7-14, continue their inauspicious start.

Quincy Anderson had a big bases-clearing triple for the Goobers in the top of the second inning. With Savannah trailing 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a changeup from Jim Landers, who finished 5th in the GSL in wins with 17 last year, and swatted a triple to left-center. It was his 3rd triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Goobers ahead, 3-1.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Anderson.
