Rollers Rally Past Black Kings for 2-1 Series Lead
The Pittsburgh Rollers needed some last-minute heroics to do it, but ultimately emerged one game away from the Negro League Cup Series. The Rollers got took the 5-4 win against the New York Black Kings in a walk-off at The Race Track. Pittsburgh catcher Curtis Cooper was 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. The win gives the Rollers a 2-1 advantage in the best-of-5 Championship Cup Series.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With two out, Cooper hit a fastball from George Augustus for a run-scoring single. The Rollers, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"Postseason wins taste oh so sweet," said Cooper after the game.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at The Race Track in Pittsburgh.
