The New York Black Kings took down the Pittsburgh Rollers by the score of 6-4 and moved into a 1-1 tie in the Championship Cup Series. The largest share of the credit belongs to New York starter Paul Clark, who threw 8.0 innings of 6-hit ball.

New York took control in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and a runner on 3rd, Wendell McCurrine hit a run-scoring single to make it 5-4, Black Kings.

"I made some pitches when I had to," said Clark.

The next game is set to be played for Friday, August 27th , 1915 at The Race Track in Pittsburgh.
