Road Win Lifts Tacoma to 3-2 Lead in PCS
With starter Raleigh Carew leading the charge, the Tacoma Larks crushed the Oakland Ducks, 13-3, in Game 5 of the Pacific Championship. Carew threw 7.2 innings of 4-hit ball at Ducks Ballpark as Tacoma breezed to a 3-2 lead in the best-of-9 series.

Tacoma used a well-timed hit by Lewis Seppey to capture the win. The left fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Larks ahead, 3-1. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"I thought Raleigh threw the ball well across the board," said Tacoma manager Earl Brown.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Ducks Ballpark in Oakland.
