On Road, Portland Beats Tacoma, 5-1
|
Andrew Collick was nothing short of phenomenal for the Portland Rosebuds. The 28-year-old right-hander was a big reason his team beat the Tacoma Larks, 5-1. Portland now sports a record of 55-71.
The Rosebuds got an important contribution from right fielder Jesse Brownrigg, who in the top of the second hit a 1-2 fastball to right-center for a run-scoring triple. It was his 14th triple of the season and put the Rosebuds ahead, 3-0.
"Obviously, you want to go out there and be good every time out," said Collick. "I take the ball every day with the same mindset."
