Suns Win Nail-Biter
The Spokane Suns did just enough to secure a victory over the Seattle Sawyers, 4-3, in 13 innings at Spokane Grounds. Nobody did more than pitcher Elzie Gretton. Jeremiah Lee snagged the win in relief. He goes to 3-0 on the season. Hollie Thompson suffered the loss. Spokane now owns a record of 55-59.

The clutch hit was provided by Allie Spracklin. He delivered a walk-off run-scoring single off Hollie Thompson in the bottom of the 13th.

In postgame remarks, Spracklin simply said: "Here's to a great win!"
