The Spokane Suns picked up a win at Sawyers Grounds, courtesy of Earnest Boden. The left-hander helped his team stop the Seattle Sawyers, 3-1. With the win, the Suns have a record of 37-30.

Allie Spracklin, who finished 5th in the CBL in stolen bases with 45 in 1911, had a direct impact on the outcome. Spracklin contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put Spokane up, 2-1.

"Earnest had good arm action, good stuff," said Spokane manager Edward Tardiff.
