Larks Earn Late 2-1 Win
The Tacoma Larks claimed a close win over the Spokane Suns, due in large part to Lloyd Parker. The Tacoma right-hander pitched a great game to secure the 2-1 win. Henry Day locked down his 10th save. Tacoma is now 41-18, 10 games up in the Cascadian Baseball League.

The game was at a stalemate until shortstop Max Toovey came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Spokane pitcher Earnest Boden, he hit a 0-1 sinker for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Tacoma on top, 2-1.

Toovey attributed the win to "a well-rounded effort by the whole team."
