Brownrigg Leads Rosebuds to 11-6 Win Over Sawyers
Portland right fielder Jesse Brownrigg helped his team beat the Seattle Sawyers, 11-6. Brownrigg, who finished 5th in the CBL in home runs with 4 in 1915, went 4 for 6 for the Rosebuds. Julius Harris was the winning pitcher. Over 6.2 innings, he allowed 5 runs on 10 hits, with 2 walks and 3 strikeouts. The Rosebuds go to 20-30 with the win.

With Portland leading 2-1 in the top of the fourth, Brownrigg hit a fastball from Rosario Allen for a grand slam home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Rosebuds ahead, 6-1.

"It was offense that won us the game," said winning manager William Marriott.
