Tacoma and Spokane duked it out and the Larks came out victorious.

Tacoma Larks left-hander Dalton Poll pitched a good game against the Spokane Suns at Spokane Grounds, leading his team to victory, 6-4. Tacoma reliever Reginald Dainty was the winner. His record is now 2-0. The losing pitcher was Elzie Gretton.

Tacoma used a timely hit from Charles Thomlinson to get the win. The pinch hitter stroked a bases-clearing double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Larks ahead, 5-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it made an impact.

"At least I did my job," Poll said.

The win takes Tacoma to 9-10.
