Tacoma Loses, 5-3, in 14
The Seattle Sawyers beat the Tacoma Larks, 5-3, in 14 innings. Seattle pitcher and Hastings, Minnesota, native Rosario Allen led the way. Seattle is still hoping to get on a roll. The win is just their 7th in 18 games.

Seattle used the timely hitting of Garfield Malden to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 14th inning to put the Sawyers on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"Rosario's a gamer," said Seattle manager Parker Bell. "Glad he's on our side."
