Los Angeles Lions right-hander Dominic Clark pitched a good game against the San Francisco Spots at Lions Park, leading his team to victory, 6-3. The last-place Lions are now 30-49, the Spots 53-26.

A defensive miscue in the bottom of the fourth cost the Spots. With Los Angeles trailing 3-2, Clark reached on an error by the SS, driving in 1 run. Los Angeles went on to win the ballgame.

"Dominic had good stuff. When he did get into a compromising count, he made the most of it," said Los Angeles manager Reinhold Elliott.
