The Sacramento Miners faced a tough opponent in Los Angeles pitcher Carl Cooper, but found a way to pull out the victory at Miners Park by a final score of 5-3 in 11 innings. Cooper went 8.1 innings and allowed 3 runs. With the win, Sacramento pushed its record to 34-34.
