The home crowd was treated to a thrilling, walk-off win.

The Sacramento Miners picked up a win at Miners Park, dropping the San Francisco Spots, 5-4. Carmelo Evans, who is tied for 10th in the CPL in complete games with 2, was the difference-maker. Sacramento reliever Charles Winslett picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Floyd Martin took the loss.

The decisive blow was delivered by John Lambshead in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a run-scoring double off 27-year old right-handed pitcher Floyd Martin to win the game for Sacramento. The home crowd went nuts.

"This house was rockin'," Evans said.

The win puts Sacramento at 33-26 this season.
