Miners Win 8-7 Nail-Biter Versus Lions
For the home crowd, it was a thrilling walk-off win.

The Los Angeles Lions got a sterling performance from second baseman Arthur Inions, but the Sacramento Miners still prevailed, 8-7. Inions was 2 for 4 with a double and 2 walks. The win went to Carmelo Evans in relief, making him now 2-0. George Brown took the loss for Los Angeles.

The decisive blow was delivered by Morgan Spencer in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a run-scoring double off 27-year old right-handed pitcher George Brown to win the game for Sacramento. The home crowd went nuts.

Spencer described the clubhouse as "kind of rowdy" after the game.

Los Angeles has now lost 6 consecutive games.
