Landers Twirls 6-0 Shutout
|
Chattanooga hurler Jim Landers put on quite a show, as he blitzed the Atlanta Foxes with a 6-0 shutout. He baffled them with fastballs and changeups, allowing 2 hits with 1 strikeout and 3 walks to pick up the win.
"I think every time we were looking for a fastball, he threw a changeup and every time we were looking for a changeup, he threw a fastball," Atlanta manager Edward Joseph told reporters after the game.
