Extra-Inning Win by Spots Over Lions
|
The San Francisco Spots got a stellar performance from pitcher Bennie Hardesty, who handcuffed the Los Angeles offense en route to a win, 4-2, at Lions Park. With the win, San Francisco elevates its record to 6-6.
San Francisco used the timely hitting of Ramon Love to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 14th inning to put the Spots on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.
"If I do my job, we've usually got a good chance to win the game," said Love.
