The Pittsburgh Rollers picked up a win at The Race Track, taking down the Indianapolis Stars, 6-4. Starting pitcher Clyde Sutton was a big reason why. The Rollers saw their record improve to 53-65.

Jimmy Gardner hit a 2-run double off Leon Davis in the bottom of the fourth, which put the Rollers in front, 3-1. In addition to the double, Gardner had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.

Pittsburgh manager Johnny Grant called it "a pretty good win."
